After charming the audiences with his performances, Sivakarthikeyan has now added another feather to his hat. The Rajini Murugan actor has turned producer; he will now produce the film Kaana which will be bankrolled under his banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The film will be directed by Arunraja, who gained popularity for penning and singing the ‘Nerrupu da’ song from Kabali. Apart from that Arunraja is also a lyricist and an actor.
Actor Vijay even sent a message to Arunraja Kamaraj congratulating him on his growth in the film industry. An Elated Arunraja took to Twitter to share his happiness.

The first-look poster and the motion poster was released yesterday. While the poster of the film shows two contrasting parallels between Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj, the motion poster intrigues the viewer more. The visual shows Aishwarya Rajesh standing at the backdrop of a village and later moves on to a cricket field wearing the Indian cricket jersey. It is touted to be a story of a daughter who aspires to become a cricketer and father who supports her dream.
Sivakarthikeyan and Arunraja were classmates in college and hail from the same town. Arunraja acted alongside the star in Mankarate.
In recent developments, Sivakarthikeyan has also turned lyricist for Nayanthara‘s upcoming film Kolamavu Kokila which has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Sivakarthikeyan has also begun dubbing for his film Seema Raja directed by Ponram.
Actor Aishwarya Rajesh has a line of films in her kitty including Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chevandha Vaanam, Rathindran R Prasad’s Idhu Vedhaalam Sollum Kadhai, AL Vijay’s Lakshmi, Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai and Gautam Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram. Meanwhile, veteran actor Sathyaraj will be seen in Venkat Prabhu’s Party and Sathyasiva’s Madai Thiranthu.
