Malayalam actor Kollam Ajith Passes Away

Actor Kollam Ajith who appeared in films such as Yuvajanotsavam, Nadodikkattu and No.20 Madras Mail passed away on Thursday morning.
The actor was undergoing treatment for a stomach-related ailment in Kochi, Kerala.
Well known for playing the role of a villain in films, Kollam Ajith made his debut with Parannu Parannu Parannu which released in the year 1983. He then went on to play the lead role in Agnipravesham (1989). He later went on to star in several movies such as Nirnayam, Aaraam Thampuran, Olympiyan Anthony Adam.He also tried his hand at direction, by directing the Malayalam films Calling Bell and Pakal Pole. Kollam Ajith was last seen in the 2012 film Ivan Ardhanaari. He is survived by his wife Prameela, daughter Gayathri and son Sreehari.
