Bigg Boss Tamil 2 – 25th June 2018, Episode 9 Update: On day 8, Groceries go missing in the house.

In the evening on day 7, Yashika and Aishwarya are conversing in the garden area about talking in Tamil like how Kamal Haasan advised them to do so. Bigg Boss calls every housemate to the confession room to nominate one housemate as the new head of the house for the week. Bigg Boss announces that Nithya has been chosen as the new head of the house for the week. Bhalajie, Nithya, and Senrayan are having dinner. Nithya takes food from her plate and puts it on Bhalajie’s plate. Nithya’s eyes are watery. After that, Bhalajie helps Nithya clean up the kitchen. All the lights go off. It is bedtime. Mahat, Aishwarya, and Yashika are lying down on the same bed. Bhalajie makes fun of them.

It is 08:00 a.m. on day 8. Nithya is sleeping on a sofa in the garden area. Bigg Boss plays the Tamil song enga veetu kuthuvilakkey and all the housemates wake up. To everyone’s surprise, Bigg Boss has taken out most of the groceries during the night. Nithya and Bhalajie make dosa and suddenly, Bigg Boss disconnects the gas connection. All the housemates are confused as to how to prepare breakfast.

Bigg Boss calls all the housemates to the living hall. Janani reads out a task to all the housemates. Daniel and Senrayan team up. Mumtaz and Mamathi team up. Bigg Boss has set up a supermarket in a room for the participants to shop the day’s groceries and the spending limit for each team is INR 400. Firstly, Daniel and Senrayan go shopping. Secondly, Mumtaz and Mamathi go shopping.

After shopping, the four shoppers stay in the garden area while the other housemates are in the living hall. Janani reads out a paper sent by Bigg Boss which says that the housemates in the living hall should choose only one set between the two sets of the shopped groceries. The housemates choose the groceries shopped by Daniel and Senrayan mainly because of salt missing in the other set.

At the dining table, Ponnambalam tells a joke to Senrayan, Ananth and Mamathi which goes in Tamil like Mumtaz kaagha Taj Mahal kattalam aana Taj Mahal kaagha Mumtaz ah katta mudiyadhu. All the housemates assemble in the living hall. Janani reads out a paper sent in by Bigg Boss which says that Janani’s time limit as the head of the house is over now and Nithya should take charge as the new head of the house. Ananth is angry on Daniel as Daniel is trolling all the housemates.

Bigg Boss calls every housemate to the confession room. Every housemate nominates two other housemates for the week’s eviction process. Bigg Boss announces Ponnambalam, Mumtaz, Ananth, and Mamathi as the nominees for the week’s eviction process. Mumtaz is doing her prayers in the garden area. Lights go off. It bedtime time. Episode 9 ends.
