Bigg Boss Malayalam – 10 August 2018, Episode 48 Update: On day 47, Maha savings in the Bigg Boss house!

With the Malayalam song Shankhum Venchaamaravum, the Bigg Boss house wakes up to a festive mood. Bigg Boss has organised a morning session of exercises conducted by Shiyas. Due to seviour back pain, Pearle denies to attend the session. Though Shiyas tries to bring her to the session, she doesn’t listens to him. All the other inmates calls her but she denies to exercise with Shiyas who was being rude with her. After a few arguments, Pearle unwilling agrees.

Later, it was time for the captaincy task. This time Bigg Boss wants to make the healthiest contestant the captain. Aditi, Anoop and Shiyas are the three contestants nominated for the captaincy task. The trio prepares themselves for the task. Each one of them are given a plate of five pieces of Puttu with twelve bananas and chickpea curry. The one who finishes first would be declared as the captain. The task begins and the trio tries to beat each other. Anoop and Shiyas vomits buts continues eating. However, Shiyas wins the task. Anoop argues saying that it was unfair to declare Shiyas as the winner. Despite his argument Shiyas is declared as the captain by Bigg Boss.

Big Bazar is celebrating its Maha savings shopping festival in the Bigg Boss house. The inmates are gifted with additional luxury points of ₹2000. The inmates become happy on winning ₹3200 luxury points. The activity area is arranged with items of the Big Bazar shop. With the sound of the Buzzer the contestants rush towards the shopping area. As the purchase exceeds the luxury points, Bigg Boss cancels the whole budget. But there was a surprise for the contestants. According to the Maha savings by Big Bazar, the customer whose purchase exceeds ₹3000 would get a cash back offer of ₹1500. The contestants finishes their shopping happily.

Later in the episode, Bigg Boss arranges a doctor for Suresh who is ill. The doctor visits him in the confession room. Meanwhile Pearle and Srinish are discussing about Suresh suddenly falling ill. Pearle and Srinish feels that Suresh’s unnecessary possessive towards Pearle is the reason for his sudden increase in the blood pressure.

Archana arranges a meeting. In the meeting she enquires everyone about their views and opinions on her captaincy. On this Basheer says that he felt she was the best captain ever. Archana happily passes her responsibilities to Shiyas. Shiyas discusses his desire of being a good captain. Unfortunately, the meeting gets dispersed in arguments.

The episode winds up with Suresh sharing his feelings and thoughts to Pearle. Pearle advices him to stay strong and ignore the rumours about them.
