Pictures: Swathi Reddy and Vikas have a traditional wedding

Actress Swathi Reddy got married to Vikas, a pilot by profession. The wedding took place in a private ceremony in Hyderabad. Dressed in a simple yet elegant pink saree, Swathi oozed charm and excitement of a bride. She was adorned with traditional jewellery as well. While her husband Vikas was dressed wore a pink shirt and silk dhoti which matched the color of the saree. Going by the pictures it looked like it was a traditional Telugu wedding. The ceremony was attended by close family members and select friends from the film industry, this includes actress Parvathy, Chandu Mondeti and Lakshmi Manchu were also present to greet Swathi.
On being quizzed about her career after her wedding, she said “I feel that getting married is part of the natural progression of life. You get a partner, and you go ahead in life. So, my work is not gonna stop”.
Swathi Reddy has been in the industry for 16 years. She has won the Filmfare Award and Nandi Award for her performance in the film Ashta Chamma. Some of her popular films include Swamy Ra Ra (Telugu), North 24 Kaatham (Malayalam) and Vadacurry (Tamil).
