Joseph Vijay, more popularly known by his stage name as Vijay made his film debut in the year 1992, and went on to star in over 61 films. His 62nd film, directed by A. R. Murgadoss is hit screens on Diwali 2018. Fans are already waiting with bated breaths for the release of the film. And even before the release, it has been speculated that Vijay will soon team up with either Atlee, Vetrimaaran or H. Vinoth for his next film. 1. Vijay has appeared in the Hindi film Rowdy Rathore (2012) which was directed by Prabhu Deva and starred Akshay Kumar in the lead. The actor showed off some of his amazing dance moves in the brief cameo he appeared in.

2. Vijay has been consistently listed under the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, which is based on the earnings of Indian celebrities. In 2017, he was ranked 31st in the list.

3. Vijay is said to have a massive fan following in Kerala. Most of his recent release has earned a positive response in God’s Own Country. In the Malayalam film Paavada (2015), actor Prithviraj played Vijay’s die-hard fan in the film. That’s super cool, isn’t it?

4. Vijay started his own social welfare organization ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’, through which he carries his philanthropic work. No wonder he’s called Darling of The Masses.
