6 uncredited roles of the now famous Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi is currently one of Tamil cinema’s most bankable stars. His name is now synonymous with talent, which stands out brilliantly in all the films he appears in. Vijay Sethupathi won fame with the 2010 Thenmerku Paruvakaatru. From then on he went on to work in films such as Pizza, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. He then attained success after appearing in Soodhu Kavvum, in which he played the role of a kidnapper. He then went on to work in 25 films and even appeared as the 34th highest earning celebrity in the Forbes list. However, much before the fame, Vijay Sethupathi appeared in a few films in uncredited roles. Take a look at them here.

Vijay Sethupathi appeared as a spectator in this boxing film, which focused on the heart-warming relationship between a mother and her son.

Pudhupettai (2006)

In Dhanush-starrer Pudhupettai he appeared as one of his henchmen. Almost 11 years later, Dhanush produced Naanum Rowdy Dhaan starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.

Lee (2007)

In director Prabhu Solomon’s film, Vijay Sethupathi appeared as a football player.

Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (2009)

In director Suseenthiran’s Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu the dashing Vijay Sethupathi appeared as a kabbadi player. It marked the debut of Vishnu Vishal. (check 3:13) to spot Sethupathi.

Naan Mahaan Alla (2010)

In yet another film by director Suseenthiran, Vijay Sethupathi featured in a scene where he is talking to the film’s lead hero Karthi.

Bale Pandiya (2010)

Vijay Sethupathi played the role of Vishnu Vishal’s brother in the film.

After appearing in minor uncredited roles in films in the past, Vijay Sethupathi is now appearing in cameos to help market a film. He has come a long way, hasn’t he! He will soon be seen in the Telugu film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which stars Chiranjeevi in the lead.
