4 South Indian heroines among India Today’s list of powerful changemakers

One of India’ leading magazines, India Today has featured a list of powerful changemakers in the field of entertainment for 2018. Actors who are enjoying popularity in south Indian cinema have also been featured in the film. The list of actors includes Rakul Preet, Radhika Apte, Taapsee Pannu, and Kajal Aggarwal. They have been listed as ‘women who don’t take no for an answer, are go-getters and always up for challenges.’
Rakul Preet, 27
Apart from starring in close to 20 Tamil and Telugu films, the actor also owns three gyms in Hyderabad. The actress can speak Telugu more fluently than her mother tongue Telugu.
Kajal Aggarwal, 33
Kajal Aggarwal is a popular star in the in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. She has starred in films such as S. S. Rajamouli’s Magadheera and A R Murugadoss’s Thuppakki. Now she holds the credit of starring in 53 films.
Radhika Apte, 33
Radhika Apte is Bollywood’s go-to person when it comes to unconventional roles and cult cinema, but she did star in south Indian cinema as well. Her climb to rise in Southern cinema include working in Rajinikanth’s Kabali.
Taapsee Pannu, 31
With over four Bollywood films to her credit this year, Taapsee Pannu is having a dream run at the box-office. According to Taapsee, she was called a bad luck charm in films for quite a few times, however, she didn’t give up.
