These 5 Tamil movies will release before 2018 ends

2018 has seen a variety of Tamil films this year. From the magnum-opus 2.0 to the romantic 96, Kollywood witnessed a lot of blockbusters. If you thought that all the Tamil films of this year have released, then we are here to tell you that it’s not. A line of Tamil films are set to release on 20th and 21st December – which will cash in on the Christmas festivity. These 5 Tamil movies will release before 2018 ends

Seethakathi

Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, Seethakaathi stars Vijay Sethupathi in his 25th film in which he plays dual roles. Vijay Sethupathi will play the role of an aged superstar, whose fondly known as Ayya. Vijay Sethupathi sports prosthetic make-up to carry the look of an 80-year-old man.

Silukkuvarupatti Singam

 

After starring in the impressive Ratsasan this year, Vishnu Vishal will appear in Silukkuvarupatti Singam. Directed by Chella, the film is a comedy-drama that also stars Regina Cassandra and Oviya. The film has been produced by Vishnu under the banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz.

Adangamaru

Starring Jayam Ravi in the lead, Adangamaru is said to be cop-drama, which has been directed by debutant Karthik. Produced by Home Movie Makers, Sam C.S. of ‘Vikram Vedha’ fame has composed the music. The film also stars Raashi Khanna.

Boomerang

Director R. Kannan is ready with his latest Tamil film titled Boomerang. Starring Atharvaa Murali in the lead, the film is said to be an intense action-thriller with a social message. The film also stars Megha Akash, Sathish, RJ Balaji, Suhasini Maniratnam and Upen Patel.

Maari 2

A sequel to the 2015 film, Maari 2 marks the second collaboration of director Balaji Mohan and Dhanush. The film will see the return of Maari, a fun, and quirky don. The film also stars Sai Pallavi, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Krishna and Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas.

Apart from these films, the dubbed version of Yash’s KGF and Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero will also hit the screens on 21st December. So which films are you going to watch?
