This is what Nayanthara’s 2019 call sheet looks like

It is without a doubt that Nayanthara is having a dream run at the box-office this year. With films such as Kollamavu Kokilla and Imaikkaa Nodigal doing well at the box-office, Nayanthara has had two hits in August. From starring in her first Tamil film Ayyah in 2005 to becoming Tamil cinema’s most sought-after heroine, this Queen-bee is having a dream run. If you are to think that Nayanthara just got lucky this year, then you should just your facts. The actress has projects lined up till 2019 as well. Here’s what she is busy with.

Viswasam

Nayanthara’s first release in 2019 is most likely to be Viswasam, which is set to release on Pongal 2019. Directed by Siva, Viswasam features Ajith in the lead. Going by Siva and Ajith’s previous films such as Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam it is sure that Viswasam too will feature the female lead in a pivotal role. This will mark Nayanthara and Ajith’s collaboration for the fourth time, after films such as Billa, Aegan and Arrambam.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Touted to be one of 2019’s most awaited films, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a period drama which is being directed by Surender Reddy, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead. This film is being bankrolled by his son Ram Charan Teja under his banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 150 crores. A picture released from the sets of the film, Nayanthara looked regal dressed in a gold-colored saree seated next to Chiranjeevi. Her first film in 2018 was Jai Simha.

Love Action Drama

Directed by Dhyan Sreenivasan, Love Action Drama is a Malayalam movie starring Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara in leading roles. The film is said to revolve around relationships, and Nayanthara is said to play the role of a Palakkad girl in the film. Dhyan’s directorial debut will also star his father actor Sreenivasan in a crucial role.

KM Sarjun the director of the recently released Tamil film Echarikai Idhu Manithargal Nadamadum Idam, is all set to work with Nayanthara in a horror film. Bankrolled by KJR Studios, which also produced Nayanthara’s 2017 hit Aramm, the film is currently under the title ‘Production No:3’.

Kolaiyuthir Kaalam

Directed by Chakri Toleti, and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, this film stars Nayanthara in the lead. Said to be a thriller, this film is said to be shot in UK.

Kottayam Kurbana

Touted to be a comic caper, Kottayam Kurbana is being directed by Mahesh Vettiyar. The film’s shooting is currently reaching its final stages and is set to hit screens in October 2018. Nayanthara made her Mollywood 15 years ago with Manasinakkare.

Untitled film with Sivakarthikeyan (SK 13)

Directed by M. Rajesh, SK 13 is Sivakarthikeyan’s 13th film and his second collaboration with Nayanthara. Touted to be a comedy, the shoot of the film is currently taking place at brisk speed.
