Here’s why Anurag Kashyap celebrated 10 years of Subramaniapuram

It’s been 10 years since the release of director-actor Sasikumar‘s film Subramaniapuram. And if there is one filmmaker apart from Sasikumar who is celebrating this movie anniversary, it is Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. He took to his Twitter account to say how the film has inspired him to make Gangs of Wasseypur. He also requested Sasikumar to made another film soon.

In 2017, it was also reported that Sasikumar will direct Subramaniyapuram in Hindi, while Anurag will produce the film. Anurag Kashyap is an admirer of Tamil films. In an event he said he has watched Subramaniapuram, Paruthiveeran and Naan Kadavul several times.
