Bigg Boss Tamil 3: All you need to know about the newest contestant Meera Mithun

Bigg Boss Tamil 3 premiered on 23rd June on Star Vijay. Hosted by Kamal Haasan, the show features 15 contestants, however, Kamal Haasan announced that two more contestants will be wild card entries in the house. Meera Mithun made her acting debut in the Tamil film 8 Thottakkal in the year 2017. She was later seen in the film Thaana Serntha Koottam, in which she played the role of Kalaiarasan’s wife. Meera has won the titles of Miss Queen of South India, Miss Tamil Nadu, and Miss South India. However, a few days ago, the title of Miss South India has been stripped from her as she is said to have involved in fraudulent activities. Actress Sanam Shetty has replaced her as the title winner.

Earlier in May Meera Mithun lodged a complaint alleging that she is receiving death threats and that her phone was hacked. She went on to file a complaint against Ajith, Joe Michael, Praveen and Malarkodi. An executive of Miss South India, Ajith spoke to the media about how Meera misused the pageant title. She is said to have borrowed a sum of 50,000 using the logo of Miss South India, to conduct her own beauty pageant. A designer claimed that she cheated him of the money, which is why the title was taken away from her.

Apart from her, the other contestants in the Bigg Boss house include Abhirami Venkatachalam, Cheran, Saravanan, Fatima Babu, Losliya Mariyanesan, Reshma Pasupuleti, Mugen Rao, Sandy, Sakshi Agarwal, Madhumita, Kavin, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Sherin, Mohan Vaithya and Tharshan Thiyagarajah.
