Boney Kapoor feels blessed doing a film with Ajith

Producer Boney Kapoor, husband of the late legendary actress Sridevi feels blessed to do a film with Ajith. The reason? He says it was his wife’s wish to produce a film with the actor. Speaking to Times of India he said “the bonding we developed with Ajith was amazing. We met after shooting for English Vinglish, some ideas were thrown. I met some directors he suggested but nothing finalised, then Ajith asked me ‘why not do Pink?’. Boney Kapoor also spoke about how he misses his wife. He said how Ajith is fulfilling Sridevi’s wishes by starring in the film, and that he will work on another film with Ajith. He also spoke about how director Vinoth has his own way of working the script to suit the Tamil audience.

Ajith’s 59th film will also stars Aadhik Ravichander, Arjun Chidambaram, Kalyani Priyadarshan among others. It is set to release on 1st May 2019, on Ajith’s birthday.
