Cricketer Dinesh Karthik heaps praise on 96

If you are an ardent fan of Tamil cinema, then chances are high that you are a fan of the film 96 starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. Directed by Prem, 96 told the tale of estranged high school sweethearts, played by Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha, who reunite and bond after several years at a reunion. The film floored fans and celebrities as well. Director Shankar, who has directed India’s most-expensive film 2.0, heaped praises on the film calling it a beautiful film that’s a delight to watch. Now, cricketer Dinesh Karthik has become a fan of the film as well. Dinesh Karthik tweeted ”What a beautiful movie 96 I’m in love with it. my fav song kathalae kathalae, whatta song ❤️Loved every frame in the movie and the music too. Been the biggest fan of @VijaySethuOffl for sometime now.but was blown away by 96.amazing. ” He even went on to say that cricketers Abhinav Mukund, Sundar, and Fitness coach Basu are fans.

Despite it’s world Television premiere on Diwali on Sun Tv, the film managed to hit the 50 days run in theatres. Apart from the lead actors, music director Govind Vasantha’s music, performances by Aadithya Bhaskar and Gowri Kishan, Singers Gowri TP and Chinmayi‘s voice was highly appreciated.
