Leg Injury? Not a problem for the dedicated Dulquer Salmaan

Dulquer Salmaan is currently riding high on the success of his film Mahanati/Nadigaiyar Thilagam, especially since he has been receiving rave reviews for his performance. The actor has also been appreciated for his performance at the recently held ‘Amma Mazhavilu’ event as well. You will not believe the reason that made this performance deserve worthy praises!

It is because Dulquer Salmaan went on to perform for a skit and two dance sequences, with a leg injury. Mammootty’s costume designer took to his social media page to share the story, he said “He would wear Alauddin’s costume and rest at the green room with an ice pack on his leg. The next moment, he would change into the costume and go onto the stage for the dance performances. It was really scary for us watching him .” It is reported that he got his leg injured while rehearsing for the show, and despite the pain, he didn’t want to disappoint the audience by not being present.

Dulquer Salmaan will make his Hindi film debut with Karwaa, co-starring Irrfan Khan, which will release on August 14th. He will also begin shooting for The Zoya Factor, starring Sonam Kapoor.
