Actor and politician JK Rithesh passed away on Saturday due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Born as Mugavai Kumar, in Kandy, Sri Lanka, Rithesh hailed from a political family. His grandfather was a minister for Housing and Slum Clearance, while his father worked in the government agricultural department. In 2009 Jk Rithesh was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha (2009) from Ramanathapuram constituency. While enjoying success in politics, he also decided to make a plunge into films. He made his debut in the film Kaanal Neer. However, his recent film LKG (2019) helped film buffs take notice of him. We will miss this actor! JK Rithesh is survived by his wife and two children.
