These images from Prabhas’ Saaho are going viral

If Baahubali was shot on a budget of 450 crores, a stunt sequence in actor Prabhas upcoming film Saaho is said to be shot on a whopping budget of 90 crores. Yes, you read that right. Addressing the media at an event in Abu Dhabi, Prabhas told media that ’90 per cent of the said action sequence will be real.’ He further added “We crashed around 37 cars and five trucks. We wanted everything real instead of going for Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) as it gives a real impact. Generally, you have 70 per cent CGI and 30 per cent real but over here in Abu Dhabi, we opted for a more real shoot. This will be something that no one has seen before,” (as quoted by Khaleej Times)
In one of the earliest images from the film, Prabhas was seen riding a Triumph Street Triple RS, hinting that there would be an intense chase sequence in the film.
Stunt director Kenny Bates, who has previously worked on Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Transformers: Dark of the Moon among others, has directed the expensive action sequence. Kenny Bates has also worked on director Shankar’s 2.0 starring Rajinikanth in the lead.
Directed by 26-year old Sujeeth, Saaho also stars Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Mandira Bedi. The film also stars Malayalam actor Lal, who is said to play a pivotal role in the film.
It also stars Tamil actor Arun Vijay in a crucial role.
The film will also release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.
