Rajinikanth‘s Kaala may have released in Chennai and other parts of the nation at 4 am on Thursday, however, this wasn’t the case in Bengaluru. After Rajinikanth’s views on the Cauvery water-row, the Pro-Kannada activists decided to ban the release of the movie. The supreme court was quick to overthrow their intentions as they refused to stall the release of the film.
Despite this theatre in Bengaluru did not screen the film on Thursday morning, due to fear of vandalism. This left several moviegoers disappointed. As ordered by directed by the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday, the state government deployed police force as theatres for the protection of fans.
