Kamal Haasan appeals to PM Narendra Modi to resolve Cauvery issue

”People are more important than elections” these sharp lines were uttered by Kamal Haasan in a video directed to Narendra Modi.

Earlier today, Kamal Haasan posted a video on his social media account in which he appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help resolve the ongoing Cauvery Issue Tamil Nadu is facing.In his 2-minute video, Kamal Haasan said the justice has been delayed to TN because of PM’s interest in the Karnataka elections. He stressed that people are more important than elections.

He also said that he would elaborate on the issue in an open letter later. He signed off by asking the PM to help farmers, the people of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in this tumultuous moment.
