All you need to know about RX 100

Rustic and action-packed – these elements describe the trailer of RX 100, which stars Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, who has previously worked with director Ram Gopal Varma in films such as Vangaveeti and Killing Veerappan, makes his debut with RX 100. Touted to be an emotional love story, the trailer indicates that the film will showcase some passionate love sequences between the lead pair. Apart from the two, actors Ramki and Rao Ramesh play pivotal roles in the film.

Shot in the locations of Athreyapuram and Ramachandrapuram, the film is said to have wrapped up in 50 days. It is reported that the makers of the film contacted the Chennai headquarters of Yamaha, and later the Japanese headquarters to seek legal permission to use the name RX 100, which belongs to the motorbike giant Yamaha. The authorities then granted permission and insisted the brand name Yamaha be dropped from the title due to legal issues. It is now needless to say about the prominence the bike will have in the film. Interestingly the film was first offered to Vijay Deverakonda.

The film has been produced by Ashok Gummakonda under the banner of Kartikeya Creative Works. The music of the film has been composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj while National award-winning technician Praveen K. L is the editor of the film.
