Malayalam actress Aswathy Babu arrested for attempting to sell drugs

Malayalam film and television actress Aswathy Babu was arrested on Sunday at Kochi, Kerala for being possession of drugs, attempting to sell them. The 22-year-old Aswathy Babu and her driver, Binoy Abraham were arrested after the police are said to have seized 58 grams of MDMA, which is a party drug. They were arrested just moments before waiting to deliver the drug to a customer.
It is said that the police have been following her for the last few weeks, based on the information they received. A further probe has been launched by the police.
