Mammootty’s strong stand against hoardings

The team and the makers of Mammootty’s film Ganagandharvan are busy prepping for the release. They’ve also come up with a strong decision of not having an flex banners or hoardings for the film. This comes in the wake of an accident which took place in Chennai a few days ago, where a 23 year old woman, died after a hoarding fell on her, after which she lost her balance off her bike.
It is reported that after being deeply upset by the incident, Mammootty requested the director of his film Ramesh Pisharody and producer Anto Joseph to avoid using hoardings. This is not the first time Mammootty is coming up with this step. The megastar supported posters made of traditional canvass instead of plastic banners.
Fans of actors Vijay and Ajith too have decided not to use hoardings for their idol’s films!
We wish many more actors and producers come up with this initiative.
