Raman Sharma who taught Vijay magic in Mersal slams Thenandal films over non-payment of dues

Director Atlee‘s Mersal, which starred Vijay in the lead became one of the highest-grossing films in 2017, the year it released. The film told the tale of twin brothers, a magician and a doctor who attempt to expose the corruption of India’s medical field. It is needless to say that there were many scenes in the film where Vijay displayed his magic skills for the scenes. The man behind those spell-binding scenes magician Raman Sharma. However, not all is well with him and the film’s production house Thenandal films. Raman, took to his Twitter account to accuse the production house over non-payment of dues for his work in the film.

He said ”It has been a very stressful process for me to try to get my money back. When I first met them they were very sweet. I came to India five times just so that I can help make this movie Mersal. 14 months later I still haven’t been paid.” He also said that the head Murali, is ignoring his phone calls. He also said ”The most interesting part is, this movie has a lot to do with ethics and corruption. They owe me over 4 lakhs” He even shared screenshots of his messages to the production house.
