Must See: First-look posters of Tamannaah, Kajal, Parul Yadav and Manjima in the Queen Remake

When the Hindi film Queen released in the year 2014, it went on to win hearts and praises from critics. The film told the tale of a woman who goes on her honeymoon alone, and discovers to love herself. The film won two National awards: Best Film and Best Actress Kangana Ranaut. Owing to the success, the remake rights of the film were bought by Manu Kumaran. The film is being remade in four south Indian languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. While Ramesh Aravind is directing the Kannada and Tamil version, Prasanth Varma is directing the Telugu version and the Malayalam version is directed by Neelakanta.
Now, the first-look posters of the films are out!
1. Paris Paris – Tamil
Kajal Aggarwal, who plays Parmeswai looks like she is embracing her new life in the poster. Seated on a roller board, dressed in a sweater and denims, she looks simple yet sweet.
2. This is Mahalakshmi – Telugu
Dressed in a pink lehenga, and adorned in floral jewellery, Tamannaah who plays Mahalakshmi is seen giving the classic ‘Queen dance pose’ which Kangana did in the original. She sure looks like she is having fun!
3. Zam Zam – Malayalam
Manjima Mohan, who plays Zama Nazreen, poses with a globe in her hand, indicating that she is going to take over the world. What’s interesting about this poster is how all the other women are robed in burkha with their heads facing the Eiffel tower, while Manjima looks at the camera and smiles.Brownie points for the originality of the poster.
4. Butterfly – Kannada
Parul Yadav, who plays Parvati is seen surrounded by butterflies in the poster. She looks like she is going to break into a dance. The poster says – She will make you cry a little, laugh a lot and leave you with a permanent smile.
