The members of South Indian Artistes’ Association a.k.a Nadigar Sangam, recently held a meeting to discuss about the ongoing issues in the film industry – including artists remuneration. The meet was attended by Nassar, Vishal, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi and many others. However, the highlight of it was when Simbu and Vishal attended the event and even seemed to share a close bond. It has to be known that during the Nadigar Sangam elections Simbu and Vishal slammed each other. Simbu even went on to accuse Vishal of splitting Nadigar Sangam because of his personal issue with former Nadigar Sangam chief Sarathkumar.
But it looks like the two have decided to bury the hatchet no, by bonding over something they really love – films and welfare of those who love films. We’re glad to good healthy relationships bloom in the high competitive film industry.
The members of the Nadigar Sangam also discussed on reducing overall film production costs and bringing transparency in the film industry.
This is the first time the members sat down for a meeting, after the 50-day industry strike where there were no film release, film related events and even film shoots.
