Actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna dies in a road accident

Actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna, died in a road accident in the early hours of Tuesday, in Telangana. He was the son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao.

N Harikrishna, 61, was also the brother-in-law of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

The actor-politician was driving his SUV, a Toyota Fortuner. It is said that he was driving the car at high speed to attend a wedding. The car then hit a divider and flipped. It also hit another car, a Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The three others who travelled with Harikrishna have been injured.

Nandamuri Harikrishna started his film career as a child artist with Sri Krishnavataram. Some of his most notable films include Laahiri Laahiri Laahirilo Seetayya and Seetharama Raju.

Celebrities Nagarjuna, Sarathkumar and many others took to their social media to speak about the late actor.

Nandamuri Harikrishna’s kids from his first wife are actor Kalyan Ram and Suhasini. His son from his second marriage is actor Tarak better known as Jr. NTR.

Janaki Ram, his son from his first marriage also died in a road accident in 2014.
