Why isn’t Nayanthara’s Kalyana Vayasu song unavailable on YouTube?

Actress Nayanthara‘s biggest hit of the year has been her film Kolamavu Kokila. The song Kalyana Vayasu which appeared in the film, too won a lot of attention from film buffs as it featured comedian Yogi Babu chasing his neighbor Nayanthara to fall in love with him. Written by Sivakarthikeyan and composed by Anirudh, the song went on to gain over a million views on YouTube and topped the music charts for several weeks. However, there is some bad news for those who liked the song.

The original Kalyana Vayasu song is not unavailable on YouTube. According to director Nelson, the reason behind it is that music composer Anirudh used the licensed beats, and now the YouTube license of the beats has been expired. He also went on to say that the song is available on other streaming platforms.
