Is Nayanthara playing a Palakkad girl in Love Action Drama?

Nayanthara is undoubtedly one of the busiest heroines in tinsel town. The actress is currently working on a record of films including Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, Kolamavu Kokila and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The actress has also been signed on for Sivakarthikeyan‘s upcoming move and Ajith’s Viswasam. Hailed as a superstar, Nayanthara will also begin working on a Malayalam movie very soon.
Titled Love Action Drama, the film will be directed by Dhyan Sreenivasan and also co-stars Nivin Pauly in the lead. We now hear that the actress will play the role of a Palakkad girl in the film. The film is said to revolve around relationships and will be shot in the Chennai. Dhyan’s directorial debut will also star his father actor Sreenivasan in a crucial role. Speaking to the press during the film’s launch the director said ”Love Action Drama will be a contemporary take on Vadakkunokkiyanthram, I conceived the story eight years ago for a short film”. Incidentally, Vadakkunokkiyanthram starred Sreenivasan in the lead role.
Produced by Aju Varghese and Visakh Subramaniam under the banner Funtastic Films, the music of the film has been composed by Shaan Rahman. The satellite rights of Love Action Drama is said to have been sold at a record price even before the completion of the shoot!
