Petta’s Telugu distributor slams Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and other producers

Superstar Rajinikanth‘s Petta is all set to hit the screens on 10th Thursday. Speaking at the Telugu pre-release event of Petta, the distributor of the film Ashok Vallabhaneni lashed out against the ‘alleged’ mafia that prevents smaller films to release in theatres. He said Allu Aravind, Dil Raju and UV Creations for blocking several theatres for these films, and not allowing Petta to hold many screens. It has been noted that there are over three films releasing for Sankaranti in Tollywood. These include NTR‘, ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, ‘F2’. He said ”I request Telangana CM KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu to intervene and put an end to this theater mafia which is killing small filmmakers and actors,”
Petta has been directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film stars a plethora of stars including Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Simran, Bobby Simha, and Megha Akash among others.
