Priya Prakash’s Freak Penne song is trending by receiving several dislikes

Actress Priya Prakash Warrier who took the nation by storm with her wink move in the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi from her debut film Oru Adaar Love is now back with a new song. Titled Freak Penne, the song composed by music director Shaan Rahman features Priya, Roshan Abdul and Noorin Shereef dancing to the beats of a rap song. While the song doesn’t feature Priya’s trademark wink, it did capture her ability to flaunt her dance skills, along with her on-screen partner Roshan Abdul.

While Priya’s first song went on to garner over 75 million views, this song has generated about 10 million views in four days. Sounds like it’s a viral hit isn’t it? But stats on the song say otherwise. The song has received about 6 lakhs dislikes and negative comments from netizens. A fan of Priya Prakash went on to say “the song isn’t as catchy as the first one, so people have decided to show their dislike by hitting the dislike button.”. A YouTube user has said “I really liked this rap song. Priya doesn’t deserve this hate”.

Owing to the negative reviews, Priya Prakash has disabled the comments section of the video on her Instagram account.
