A few days short of his 77th birthday, Amitabh Bachchan has been treated to a memorable gift. He has been selected for the Dadasaheb Phalke award. Union minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar posted, “The legend Amitabh Bachchan who entertained and inspired for 2 generations has been selected unanimously for #DadaSahebPhalke (sic) Award. The entire country and international community is happy. My heartiest congratulations to him.”
