Sameera Reddy wants this one thing to change in the film industry!

If you have watched Vaaranam Aayiram, then it is needless to say that Sameera Reddy was one of the best to feature in the film. Her dusky looks, beautiful smile and the natural performance had won everyone over. She later went on to star in a handful of Tamil films including Asal, Vedi, Vettai, and Nadunisi Naaygal. Sameera Reddy has been speaking to the media about her personal and professional life.

In a recent interview with Behindwoods, Sameera spoke about her experience of working in the Indian film industry. She recalled times when she was approached for inappropriately for roles in films. She went on to add that women should not be looked as glamour objects. And that women have a lot more to offer. She also expressed her opinion on the industry changing slowly for the better.

In 2014 she got married to Akshai Varde, and the couple has a son named Hans Varde. She is expecting the arrival of her second child this year.
