Shrikumar, the director of Mohanlal’s Odiyan has been injured

Ad director-turned-filmmaker V A Shrikumar is reported to have been injured after a fall from an escalator. The incident which took place in Mumbai left Shrikumar to undergo a surgery. According to reports, it is said that the director lost his balance and fell down, hurting his jaw. He has been advised by the doctors to be on rest for a period of two weeks.
Meanwhile, the shoot of his ambitious film debut, Odiyan has been completed and the film’s post-production work is going on in full swing in Mumbai and Chennai. According to him, Odiyan will give India it’s ‘desi superhero’. The film will see Mohanlal play several different avatars.
The posters carry pictures of a toned and young looking Mohanlal. Apart from him, the film stars Manju Warrier and Prakash Raj among others. V A Shrikumar Menon is also on board to direct on film on Mahabharata, a 1,000 crore rupee budget which will be based on the Malayalam novel Randamoozham.
