SIIMA 2018: A look at the list of winners from the Kannada film industry

When the award nominations were listed by SIIMA for Kannada film industry, fans got a chance to vote for their favourite films and actors to bag the honours. Puneeth Raajkumar’s box-office blockbuster Raajakumara had the maximum number of nominations with the film making an entry in 11 different categories. It went on to fetch Puneeth Rajkumar the award for Best Actor and the film won Best Film. While Shanvi Srivasatava, won the award for her performance in the movie Taarak.

Best Playback Singer (Male): Ravi Basrur (Anjaniputra – Chanda Chanda)

Best Playback Singer (Female): Anuradha Bhat (Chowka – Appa I Love You)

Best Cinematographer: Santhosh Rai Pataje (Chamak)

Best Lyric Writer: Santhosh Ananddram (Raajakumara Title Song)
