SIIMA to donate the entire ticket revenue towards Kerala relief fund

Kerala is currently facing the worst floods of the century. Many parts of the state have been flooded, leaving civilians homeless and helpless. Rescue operations are in full swing to help those who are affected by this natural calamity.
Owning to this natural disaster, Tamil movie actors are taking to their social media to urge their fans and followers to do their bit for their neighboring state Kerala. Actors from Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries have donated to the CM’s relief distress fund.

Now, popular awards show SIIMA has also decided to do their bit by contributing all the ticket sale revenue to the relief fund. Taking to their official account they posted ”KERALA needs all the support! Let’s come together & do our bit. The South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA) is one of the biggest events, which awards the talented actors and technicians of Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil cinema industry. It’s well-recognized as it brings it together on a global platform. In 2017, the awards show was held in Abu Dhabi and it was a grand success. 2018 is no different, as the organizers have announced the dates for the seventh edition of the most-awaited awards show in Dubai once again. Organized by Vishnu Induri and Brinda Prasad under the banner Vibri Media the event will take place on 14th and 15th September the awards show will feature some of the biggest stars of Indian cinema.
