Who is Simran’s favourite new-age star?

Actress Simran recently won the hearts of Tamil cinema lovers after her appearance in the poster of Petta. The poster features her alongside Rajinikanth – and it broke the internet within minutes of its release. Directed by Karthik Subburaj, Petta will hit the screens on Pongal 2019. Speaking to Behindwoods, the actress spoke about how excited she was when she signed the film.

She praised director Karthik Subburaj for choosing her in the film. She said ”I got married in 2003, and now so many years later they decide to cast a mother of two, in a film opposite Rajinikanth because they feel this actor still has it in her to entertain.” The anchor, Agni, went on to ask her who her favorite new age star is, and if it is Simbu. She said ”Simbu is very good, nice person and Sivakarthikeyan is also very good. he is a heartthrob. Everyone is doing so well.”
