Simran and Rajinikanth in Karthik Subbaraj’s next?

If there is one film after Kaala that fans of Rajinikanth are looking forward to it is Karthik Subburaj’s next venture. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film also stars Vijay Sethupathy and music by Anirudh. Now, reports suggest the news of another popular star who will be on board. The actress who has been approached to be a part of the film is Simran. If this is true, then this will be the first time Simran and Rajinikanth will be teaming up for a film. It is also reported that Bobby Simha and  Sananth Reddy will also star in the film.

Simran has worked with Kamal Haasan in films like Panchathanthiram (2002) and Pammal K. Sambandam (2002), however, she has never worked with Superstar Rajinikanth.

Rajinikanth is currently awaiting the release of Kaala, which is all set to hit screens on June 7th. Directed by Pa Ranjith, this will be Rajinikanth’s first film in two years. His last release, Kabali, also directed by Pa. Ranjith hit screens in 2016.
