Anti-Sterlite protest: Kollywood Actors express anger!
Share
As many as nine people have died after the police firing in Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin (Thoothukudi). An open fire was done against the protests of the Sterlite’s industrial plant against protestors.
The strike has been on against the Sterlite Copper unit, for a hundred days, especially since the company decided to double its capacity by investing 25 billion. The protesters are angry over the fact that the plant is causing health issues to its employees and increasing the capacity of the plant would aggravate the problems.
The incident has sparked a huge outrage all over the nation. Some of our Kollywood celebrities too are raging over the killings. From Rajinikanth to Kamal Haasan and Vishal to Siddharth, here’s what celebs have expressed about the incident.
1. Kamal Haasan
