Remember Dong Lee, in director A. R. Murgadoss‘ film 7aum Arivu? The actor played a Chinese agent who plants a bio-war in the film starring Suriya in the lead. Johnny Tri Nguyen also appeared in Irumbu Thirai. He is said to be playing the role of the antagonist, in this film starring Vijay in the lead.

It is said that the director was impressed with Johnny Tri Nguyen’s martial art techniques, and decided to rope him for this film. The film marks Vijay’s third collaboration with director AR Murugadoss. The duo previously worked on Thuppakki (2012) and Kaththi (2014). Touted to be a film that revolves around a socially relevant message, the film stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.
