Tears give TRP says Sathyaraj

Actor Sathyaraj’s role in Kanaa has won him all the appreciation from fans and critics alike. His ability to sink into the role of a supportive father from a farming background moved many. Speaking at the success meet of the film, the actor seemed to be in a cheerful mood. He said “it’s necessary to be happy and jolly at events. It’s really tiring to keep appreciating everyone at success meets, so after a point I don’t understand what needs to be told.” He further recounted the days when most of his films completed 100 to 200 days and after a point he got really tired of attending these events.

He also said how he doesn’t really get emotional normally, however at one event when he got teary-eyed, a camera focused only at him. He said “tears give TRPs for tv shows and YouTube content”

He concluded by saying how glad in he to be part of director Arunraja Kamaraj’s directorial Kanaa.

Kanaa which released on 21st December revolves around the struggles of a woman (Aishwarya Rajesh), who aspires to be a cricketer.
