It’s SARKAR for Vijay

The title of Vijay‘s 62nd film is here, and it is *drum rolls please* SARKAR! An interesting choice isn’t it? Directed by A. R Murgadoss the title of the film perfectly matches Vijay’s unmatched persona and fan presence. It’s needless to say that the film will feature whistle-worthy punchlines. Produced by Sun Pictures, the first-look poster, and title of the film was released on Sun Tv, and their app Sun NXT. Soon after the announcement, the film began trending on social media soon.

The film marks Vijay’s third collaboration with director AR Murugadoss. The duo previously worked on Thuppakki (2012) and Kaththi (2014). Touted to be a film that revolves around a socially relevant message SARKAR, the film stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.

Earlier today, an unofficial poster of the film surfaced online. The poster carried the ‘Vera Level‘ and created curiosity among fans.

Earlier in April, the team shot some high-octane sequences featuring Vijay. Shot near Pachaiyappa’s College in Chennai the scene featured Vijay preparing to ride a bike, and fans who witnessed the scene began howling and hooting on seeing the actor.
