Kadaram Kondan - Malaysia

Kadaram Kondan which released last week, opened to mixed reviews at the box office. A remake of the French film Point Blank, Kadaram Kondan has been directed by Rajesh M Selva. Now, news is that the film will not release in Malaysia. Although extensively shot there, the Malaysian censor board has decided to ban it from releasing in the country.

The reason for it is that the film has shown the Malaysian police force in a bad light. They are shown as corrupt, and this didn’t go down well with the Malaysian officials.

Kadaram Kondan stars Vikram, Abi Haasan and Akshara Haasan in lead roles. Produced by Kamal Haasan’s banner Raaj Kamal Films, the film is said to be doing well at the box office.

Meanwhile, Vikram will soon start shooting for his 54th film directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. The music for which will be composed by A.R. Rahman
