Vibri media to produce three magnum-opus films

Vibri Media, the media company which is behind the SIIMA Awards and Celebrity Cricket League has ventured into film production, and have over three films in their kitty. Headed by Vishnu Induri and Brinda Prasad, Vibri Media has attained success with all the above-mentioned events. They are currently producing a biopic on NTR, a biopic on Jayalalithaa and ’83 which is set to recreate India’s Cricket World Cup victory of 1983.

In a statement, Brinda Prasad had said “Her [Jayalalithaa’s] life is an inspiration for women folk around the world,” “This film will be a tribute to her achievements both in cinema and politics.” “We at Vibri have a Vision of telling real stories and Director Vijay is overseeing the pre-production work of the film himself as per our vision,” said Producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri. The film will be launched on Jayalalithaa’s birth anniversary, 24th February 2019 and will star a leading Bollywood heroine playing the lead.

’83 starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, and directed by Kabir Khan 83′ will trace the story of Indian skipper Kapil Dev, who led the Indian cricket team to victory in the 1983 World Cup.

Vibri media is currently working on a biopic of NTR. The late NTR was a popular Telugu film actor and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Directed by Krish and starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead, the film was launched amidst much fanfare, with India’s vice president Venkaiah Naidu being present at the event. Said to release in Sankaranti 2019, the film chronicle the life of NTR, including the phase before he became an icon.

Vibri Media’s next event SIIMA 2018, is set to take place in Dubai on 14th and 15th September. The South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA) is one of the biggest events, which awards the talented actors and technicians of Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil cinema industry.
