‘Kaali’ starring Vijay Antony gets a release date

Music composer-turned-actor and producer, Vijay Antony’s took to Twitter to announce the release date of his upcoming film Kaali. On his Twitter page, the actor Tweeted ‘#Kaali (Taught me a lot) Releasing worldwide on May 18th’.

The film was initially set to release in the month of March, however, due the release got delayed due to the TFPC strike.

Kaali made headlines a few weeks ago when in news after the Madras High Court ordered a stay on the release of the film. This was due to the unpaid dues by Vijay Antony. However, the court lifted the stay after the makers came to an amicable settlement.

Touted to be a psychological thriller, Kaali has been directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and produced by Fatima Antony under Vijay Antony Film Corporation. The film also stars Anjali, Sunainaa, Yogi Babu and RK Suresh in pivotal roles. Apart from acting Vijay Antony has also composed music for the film.
