Who are you feat. Pearle Maaney takes social media by storm

‘Who‘ directed by debutant Ajay Devaloka, is creating a strong buzz in Mollywood. Said to be an Indie movie, Who is said to revolve around mysterious events which unfold in a valley. It is the second chapter in the series, however, it is scheduled to release first. The film will be a sci-fi genre, which will explore the concept of dream interpretation.

Besides the interesting plot, the makers have now released a brand new song from the film and it is creating ripples on social media. Celebrities such as Prithviraj Sukumaran, Ahaana Krishna, Tovino Thomas, Shaan Rahman and Aju Varghese are posting about it on their social media accounts.

Featuring VJ-turned-actress Pearle Maaney, the video shows the actress in search of something or someone. Sung by Dhanusha Gokul with music by Mangal Suvarnan, the song is visually stunning and is shot against the backdrop of snow, using minimal props which create an other-worldly effect to the song. Pearle Maaney adds mystical feeling with her performance, her costumes, and makeup.  Pearle Maaney and Mangal Suvarnan have also written the lyrics for the video. It has to be noted that the song was released on Pearle Maaney’s birthday (28th May).

Apart from Pearle Maaney, the film stars Rajeev Pillai, Shruthy Menon, and Shine Tom Chacko. The film also premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
