You won’t believe what Dhanush said about Vetrimaaran in this classic video interview

“He may look calm but he’s actually a fierce person” said Dhanush when he introduced director Vetrimaaran in an interview. The interview video dates back 2008, for their first film together, Polladhavan. Dressed in casual t-shirt and tracks, Dhanush heaps praises on Vetrimaaran and declares how his director is worthy of all the praises. Vetrimaaran in turn, lauds about Dhanush’s convincingly performance in the film.

Since then, Dhanush and Vetrimaaran share a warm camaraderie both on and off screen. This has led them to team up for films such as the National award-winning film Aadukalam, the action packed Vada Chennai and rural drama Asuran.

Asuran which has released on 4th October, is an adaptation of Sahitya Academy award winner, Poomani’s Vekkai.
