Qatar welcomes SIIMA with a prestigious press conference

Qatar is all set to host the most- awaited Indian movie awards show this year. The exotic country is all set to host the Pantaloons South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) which will feature over 200 celebrities from the Indian film industry. The two-day event will take place on 15 and 16 August. Superstars Chiranjeevi and Mohanlal will be the guests of honor for the event. Powered by ONE FM 89.6, the event will take place at the Lusail Indoor Arena which can host close to 8000 people. The show will award technicals and actors of the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam film industry.
The Organisers held a press conference for the media in Qatar. The panel comprised of Mashal Shahbik from QNTC, SIIMA’s founder Vishnu Induri, Naveed Abdulla CEO- ONE FM Qatar, Jassim Mohammed CCO- ONEFM Qatar, DR R Seetharaman (CEO- DOHA BANK), Medhat Greiss (General Manager- Teyseer Motors), Wassim Daageh- General Manager
– W Doha and Indian film actors Andrea Jeremiah and Manvitha Harish.
Mr. Vishnuvardhan Induri went on to brief the media about the short film awards and the list of guests attending the SIIMA.

15th August will host Kannada and Telugu film awards while 16th August will host Malayalam and Tamil film awards. The first day of the event falls on India’s Independence Day. Tickets are available on aynatickets.com, starting from QR50.
