SIIMA 2021 to be held in India

With the South Indian Cinema marking its milestones in the Indian Film Industry, it is rather essential to commemorate the artists who create such masterpieces.

SIIMA is the event that takes up the task of recognizing great talents in the South Indian Film Industry and giving them due credit. Movie lovers across the world sit and watch the SIIMA with bated breath. Stars from Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, and Sandalwood grace this prestigious occasion with their presence. The evening is filled with mesmerising performances and brilliant acts along with the award ceremony.

SIIMA has finally announced it’s returning through this official Twitter account. The 2021 award ceremony will be held in Hyderabad, on 11th and 12th September. Eminent stars and personalities from Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam Film industries are going to attend the celebration of cinema.

The eighth edition of the SIIMA awards was held in Qatar, in 2019, where the well deserved artistic and technical expertise of the South Indian Film Industry was awarded. The two days event was filled with appreciation for cinema. However, due to the unprecedented pandemic, the SIIMA couldn’t organise the function last year. It was a year of great films released on OTT Platforms. With this, the reach of South Indian Cinema spread far and wide. The viewership of the latest releases increased exponentially, and the world discovered the impact of South Indian Cinema.
