Actor Kathir who was last seen in a cameo in Vikram Vedha is now ready with his latest film, Pariyerum Perumal. Directed by Mari Selvaraj and produced by Pa. Ranjith, the film will see Kathir playing the role of an aspiring lawyer. The teaser of the film reveals the struggles faced by Pariyerum Perumal (Kathir) which is set against the backdrop of a rural setting. Actress Anandhi of Kayal fame plays the female lead in the film. Wondering what the meaning of the title is? According to Perumal, his name Pari means horse, Pariyerum Perumal means he who rides a horse’s back, it is Hindu god’s name.
