SIIMA 2019 to be held in Doha on the 15th and 16th of August

The big news is finally here! SIIMA 2019 will be held in Doha, Qatar on the 15th and 16th of August. In a report by Gulftimes and The Pensinsula Qatar, it was reported that SIIMA will indeed take place in Doha. And now, SIIMA’s official page on social media has confirmed the news. The account posted “The Most Popular Awards Show in India, South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) announces Qatar as the Host Nation for this year. Event is Scheduled on 15th and 16th August in Doha. #PantaloonsSIIMA #SIIMAinQatar @pantaloonsindia @VisitQatar #HeloApp”

The founder of SIIMA Vishnu Induri, took to his social media account to confirm the same. The gala event is said to be held on the 15th and 16th of August.

The two-day event will honour 2018’s best technicians, actors, and films which have won the attention of the jury and the audiences. This means that the event will also see some of south Indian film industries biggest stars.

Last year, SIIMA 2018 was held in Dubai. The event was a huge success.
